AMD's AM2: Athlon 64 FX-62 & X2 5000+ Quake 4
Interestingly, the AM2 chips are able to substantially beat out the Core Duo - which should make for an interesting battle with Conroe. The faster memory (and greater bandwidth) means that at this low resolution, the FX-62 and the FX-60 on AM2 are very capable number crunchers. With the Quake multi-core patch, it's evident that the AMD chips are fast threaders.

There's no discernable difference in performance here, which will have interesting 'real-world' performance implications.
